Job Description
Facility Attendant
Tampa, FL

Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining facility building, adjacent walks and grounds, and equipment in clean, orderly and functional condition. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary and reports to the Site Coordinator. This position will have mandatory overtime.

General Duties:

Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware.
Uses vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and blinds.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
Replace batteries in hand dispensers & automatic toilet flushers.
Refill coffee supplies in common space areas
Clean and sanitize coffee machines.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, conference rooms, and work areas, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels, and soap
Covid -19 sanitize doorknobs, elevator buttons, printers & frequently touched surfaces
Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; moves equipment and furniture such as tables and chairs back in their designated area.
Requests supply orders and distributes custodial supplies; maintains inventory.
Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.
Supervises and reports building issues to Site Coordinator/Facilities Manager.
Assists with maintaining the exterior of the property by collecting miscellaneous trash etc.
Helps Site Coordinator with small building projects either weekly, monthly or quarterly such as:
Distributing, building, or organizing materials
Spot cleaning windows
Cleaning exterior windows
Assist with setup and cleanup of facility events
Clears whiteboard wall weekly
Cleans conference rooms after lunch meetings
Empty cigarette urns
Supervises and reports building issues to Site Coordinator
Performs touch up and finish painting
Requirements/Experience:

Friendly and helpful attitude
Must have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills
Customer Service orientation
Have the ability to move tables, chairs, furniture (for set up of events) and perform manual labor.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Will also need to climb ladders for dusting of minor building maintenance.
