Job Description

Forklift Operation

Yulee, FL

Rate of Pay: $17.00/hour

Hours: 1st shift – 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (M-F)

Job Duties:

· Forklift operating skills to load/unload o navigates throughout plant or into trailers, including populated and small areas, performs safety procedures, read/interpret placard/shipping documents, truck/trailer loading.

· Must be able to ensure the right doors go into the right trailers, secure loads, and keep shipping lines clear.

· Conduct performance and mechanical forklift inspection.

· Follow all forklift and safety protocols.

· Coordinate routing through department based on product and process flow.

· Use daily production schedule to determine space needed to stage doors for the next step in the process.

· Work in tandem with department needs.

· Manually slides/flips door (maximum 50 lbs. per door).

· Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

· Good communication skills both written and verbal.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.

· Good technical/mechanical aptitude

· MUST be forklift certified.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.
