Welders - Fabricators! With Benefits & Up to $33/hr! (TAG)

Job Description

Marathon Staffing is interviewing for multiple temp-to-hire Welders and Fabricators openings with our steel manufacturing company located in Chattanooga, TN,

Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding using a pulse voltage
  • Custom fabrication will be required to be able to also read blueprints
  • JIG fabricators will do more tack welding- setting up the foundations for the finish welders to “pretty up”
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a safe manner
  • Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions
  • Demonstrate ability to use and operate hand tools and welding equipment
  • Punctual and reliable

Pay is $18.00 / hour. Strong performers will be eligible for the Production Program and earning up to $33/hr (Assessment begins after only 30 days!!!)

Schedule is Monday - Thursday with OT as required (see below):

  • 1st shift: 7am - 5:30pm, with OT occurring on Fridays when needed
  • 2nd Shift: 6pm - 4:30am, with OT occurring on Sundays when needed
  • Some departments offer varying schedule
