Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description


Maintenance Mechanic- Whitmire, SC

Monday-Thursday 7:30 am- 5pm; Friday 7:30am-11:30am

Pay $20.00

Job Summary

Performing semi-routine maintenance task and diversified duties in connection with repairs to buildings and grounds. Duties include although not limited to carpentry for woodwork repairs, minor plumbing repairs, electrical and painting work.

Responsibilities

  • · Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
  • · Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • · Performing preventative maintenance.
  • · Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • · Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

Requirements

  • · Basic plumbing and electrical systems knowledge
  • · Experience using hand and electrical tools
  • · Ability to read manuals and drawings
  • · Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • · Ability to complete task in a timely manner
  • · Able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Divers License
