Job Description
Marathon Staffing is seeking qualified, dedicated candidates for a Direct Hire, Warehouse Supervisor manufacturing facility in Cambridge, MA!

Responsible for all aspects of warehousing including shipping, receiving, and material handling.  Position is responsible for inventory material handling of raw and pack materials and finished goods as well as personnel safety, morale and special assignments as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervise a three shift eight person crew, who’s responsibilities include, shipping, receiving, off-loading bulk raw materials, inventory control functions, stock rotation, auditing, cycle counts, and month end physical inventories and insures established practices and procedures in support of the warehouse activities are followed.
Supervises the material distribution, ensures product rotation, availability of raw and packaging materials to the production floors in support of the three-week schedule.
Coordination and Supervises daily carrier activities. Supervises the loading of the outbound finished goods and ensures accuracy of paperwork.
Support ORACLE Transportation Module for shipping finished goods.
5 S’s – coordinates all activities in support of 5S's.  Responsible for monitoring employees, weekly inspection and maintaining the program in the warehouse.
Daily reconciliation of production reporting and finished goods inventory.
Deploy finished goods to distribution centers based on need by warehouse.  Monitoring of finished goods levels in distribution centers and coordinate stock transfers to corporate distribution personnel.
Schedule Bulk Raw Materials based on three-week schedule and ensures compliance of receipt to established procedures.
Plan department budgets and expenditures and insure budgets are met.
Safety training f or department as well as Train the Trainer.  Conducts STOP Observations.
Responsible for GMP compliance and monthly audits in the warehouse.
Maintain fleet of forklifts and power walkers and provide training and testing to all plant employees in need to a license.  Conducts annual train the trainer sessions on materials handling equipment and safety procedures. 
Insure accuracy of system transaction and loading of outbound finished good trucks. 
Training of new employees, update and evaluate current receiving and shipping procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Degree, APICS Certification a plus
1-3 years experience in warehouse environment
Computer skills required
Supervisory experience required

Annual salary starts at $95,000 and could increase, based upon experience.  Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K w/ match, flexible spending account, 11 paid holiday, vacation time, etc.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, unless otherwise agreed upon.
