Job Description
Marathon Staffing is looking for Braiding Machine Operators to help with the operations of a manufacturer located in Leominster, Ma

Fulltime – Monday – Friday with some occasional weekends during busy season
1st shift 7am- 3pm
Pay rate: $15-$20 depends on experience

Training for the job is provided
Weekly pay: direct deposit and pay cards available

Braider Operator basic experience needed will train!! Must be able to multi task and abilit to work independtnly. Extrusion experiecne is benefical but not needed. This first shift position requires braiding, mixing, material handling and re-spooling.

Sets up and runs extruder. Including selection of appropriate tooling tip, die and sets heat, line speed and diameter as instructed.

Runs compound, conductor, concentrate, printing ink and any other material
Maintains the compound level in the hopper/dryer system, in movable barrels and replaces Gaylord’s as needed.
Monitors the product frequently during extrusion for such qualities as dimensions, surface, and print
Cleans and organizes work area to minimize potential safety hazards
Complies with all plant safety regulations and reports to supervisor when needed
Assist in annual physical inventory and monthly cycle counts.
