Shipping/Receiving - 2nd Shift

Job Description
Marathon is seeking responsible candidates for a Temp-to-Perm, 2nd Shift, Shipping/Receiving position available immediately in Belchertown, MA!!

Duties include, but may not be limited to:

- Coordinate and schedule all outbound loads
- Determine proper loading order and placement of product
- Verify shipping documents and recording discrepancies
- Set up loads to be shipped through outside freight companies
- Coordinate routing of orders and dispatching carrier with orders including appropriate delivery instructions
- Ensures all internal/external paperwork meets company and DOT regulations
- Documents any shortage on orders, investigates reasons for occurrence and communicate with appropriate parties
- Takes and acts upon all calls for tracing and/or expediting orders
- Maintain proper documentation and records of incoming/outgoing shipments
- Assisting in loading/unloading material, as needed
- Performs other duties, as needed

Requirements include:

- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum 6 months of Shipping/Receiving experience
- Working knowledge of DOT concepts, regulations and practices
- Working knowledge of proper loading techniques, weight limitations, etc.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook

Schedule is 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and 1/2 day Saturdays, as requested.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour to start!  Pay increase and GREAT benefits upon full time hire!
