Job Description
 What you need to know
  • Hourly Pay Rage $23.60
  • Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (40 hours per week)
  • Full Time, Temporary Assignment (6 months)
  • Located in Mesa
  • Benefits Available – Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life, Short-Term Disability
What you’ll be doing
This position performs inputting, updating, and maintaining GIS databases, and coverages, layers, and linkages to various databases.

You will be responsible for…
  • Prepare detailed maps using ESRI technologies (ArcGIS desktop) and/or AutoCAD software.
  • Input and review GIS data for completeness, accuracy, and neatness
  • Create map layouts and views of moderate difficulty and complexity.
  • Conduct geoprocessing operations and database queries.
  • Perform digitizing.
  • Conduct mapping research in the field and in the office to resolve conflicting information.
  • Interpret plans, plats, and legal descriptions.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree, or equivalent coursework at a technical or vocational school in GIS, Cartography, Geography, Civil Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Must have experience with Python and Model Builder scripting to automatic
  • Must have experience with ArcMap COGO Tool, and ArcGIS Pro Traverse tool to map legal descriptions
  • Must have experience with map production in ArcMap, and ArcGIS Proc and ArcGIS Online including developing layout, template and cartographic standards
  • Experience with LiDAR classification, reading engineering plans and CAD a plus
