Hourly Pay $18 - $25 per hour, DOE 

Monday-Thursday, shifts and hours will vary (up to 32 hours per week)

Located in Downtown Mesa

Coordinating with internal police staff and other city departments to complete project tasks by deadlines. 

Creating and posting social media content using Sprout Social, Photoshop, Canva and other digital media tools. 

Prioritizes multiple projects to meet required deadlines. 

Communicates with other Police Department and City employees, clients, and vendors to effectively assist in producing, distributing, and posting social media information for internal and public information purposes. 

Learns job-related material regarding computer applications. 

Stays up to date and trained in new technology through seminars, trade journals, and professional organizations. 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 

Requires coursework in digital media. 

Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat and Tik Tok. 

Strong written communication skill including grammar, syntax, and spelling abilities.
