Job Description
Marathon is seeking qualified candidates for a Direct Hire, Electrical / Instrumentation Technician (CAE) position available immediately in Lathrop, CA!!!

The CAE Technician will support shift production teams, implement projects and modifications to electrical/electronic/programming in nature by performing the duties listed below. Additional duties include production support in the area of controls, automation, electrical, and electronics are required.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Manufacture, document, and test the following: control systems and process controls.
• Experience in installation, testing and calibration level, temperature, and flow controls.
• Modify, and maintain a variety of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) using Allen Bradley PLC 5, Allen Bradley SLC 500, Allen Bradley CLX 5500, Allen Bradley Panel View, and GE Fanuc LM-90 platforms.
• Create, organize, and maintain documentation related to aforementioned items.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The perfect candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in the following:

• Electrical Instrumentation and calibration.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting of programs
• Electrical and PLC documentation reading and writing.
• Safe working knowledge related to electrical and mechanical activities
• Computer Applications knowledge for Word, spreadsheets, and charting.
• Training in electrical, electronics and programmable logic controllers.
• Experience variable frequency drives and motion control.
• Analog and digital circuitry.

Equipment Operated:

• Multi-Meters (Voltage, Current)
• Various types of calibration test equipment a plus

Two rotating shift schedules available, hours are 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 3 days one week, 4 days the next week.  Every other weekend required!!

Annual salary range of $72,800 to $93,600, depending on experience.  Great benefits upon full time hire!!!
