Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

Due to rapid growth Marathon Staffing is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. Our ideal candidate is progressive, innovative and customer focused. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of all the activities related to the transportation operations of the business.

 

We seek candidates with passion for delivering superior service and have the ability to expand operations.

 

Job Details:

  • This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity!
  • 1st Shift: Monday to Friday (40-50 hours per week).
  • Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour

Team Member Benefits:

  • Paid Weekly; direct deposit/pay cards available
  • Health Insurance available immediately upon hire

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full cycle customer service to clients or customers
  • Issue invoices and monthly statements to customers
  • Dispatch local and over the road trucks
  • Assist in preparation of driver settlements
  • Scan backup documents into the system
  • Must be familiar with dot safety requirements
  • Ensures that with each move, Customer Service is the focus
  • Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs for the company
  • Ability to adapt and change to a growing company needs and requirements
  • Maintains outstanding customer relations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
